In Belorussia benefit credits are granted to manufacturers of children footwear
| Belorussia's government intends to ask OAO "Belagroprombank", OAO "Belorussia's development and reconstruction bank - Belinvestbank"
and OAO "Savings bank - Belarusbank" to allot credits in 2002 to organisations, incorporated in the Belorussian State concern for manufacturing
and sale of light industry goods (Bellegprom) for the amount 4 billion rubles for organising manufacture of garments and footwear for schoolchildren
for the new school year. This is stated in the Decree of the Council of Ministers. The Finance Ministry has been instructed to ensure reimbursement of the expenses for paying interest on using these credits in the amount of half of the refinancing rate of the National Belorussia's bank from the funds of the republic's budget.
