According to Tver regional State Statistics Committee as of July 1, 2002, head number of cattle amounted to 395.3 thousand heads (98% by July 1, 2001). Head number of pigs equalled 155.4 thousand heads (101%), of sheep and goats - 100.3 thousand heads (99.6%).
