Leather and fur factory in Ishim (Tyumen region), which specializes in processing sheepskins, is going to start processing cattle hides. The
factory's equipment is also suitable for manufacturing pigskins. The experts from the Turkish trade manufacturing and trade company Ozenen, that
signed an agreement on cooperation are expected to visit the factory soon. The factory will produce for Turkish partners up to 70 tons of wet-blue
monthly. The equipment necessary for cattle wet-blue production has already been installed at the factory. The mounting of the sewage treatment
system is being completed. It is planned to ship the first lot at the beginning of March. The part of the profit received from the joint project
will be invested in the further development of the production. Also an agreement has been reached, which provides for the organization of the
sewing factory, wholesale and retail sale of leather and fur garments.
The fact of signing the cooperation agreement has already resulted in new raw material supplies for the factory. Agreements have been reached
on shipment of raw materials from the eight meat processing factories in the South of the region and one factory from the Kurgan region. Procurement
points, working in four Ishim regions, have already shown interest in supplying raw hides for the factory.
