According to the information of the district Statistics Committee the production in leather, fur and footwear industry in the region for January-March 2003 as compared with the same period of 2002 has reduced for 29%. At the same time production of Juft leather has reduced by 55%, footwear - by 42%, head-gear made from natural furs - by 18%.
