On October, 20 Magnitogorsk shoe factory (Chelyabinsk region) signed with French firms Bata and Eram a contract for delivery and installation by the French of modern machinery for footwear production. Technical re-equipment will be carried out on two sites simultaneously. According to M.M.Shunina, Deputy director on production, new machinery will allow to increase production facilities almost twofold, to raise quality of the goods, and to considerably increase a range of school footwear models.
