In Anadyr, the capital of the region, the first furhide processing tannery is ready to begin work. The principal production is intended for internal market of Chukotka, however the peltry is planned to be sent to other regions of the country and abroad. It is planned to recruit specialists which could sew modern wear and make souvenirs, said Mrs Gromova of Chukotsk Agricultural Corporation. Today agreements on purchasing of raw materials have been concluded with all agricultural enterprises of the region, as well as with professional hunters.
