At light industry enterprises in January-October of the current year the output reached 3.2% growth as compared with the similar period last year. This included the output in footwear industry by 1.1%, in fancy leathergoods industry - by 43.2%, at enterprises producing fur and fur garments - by 7%. Over 10 months of 2003 footwear enterprises of the Ukraine produced 12 million pairs of footwear.
