A program of urgent steps aimed at Russian light industry development is approved during meeting headed by deputy Chairman of Russian Government Mr. B. Alyoshin. The program includes reduction of import duties on machinery, equipment, spare parts and raw materials for Russian light industry; measures against illegal import and manufacture of light industry goods; abolition of advance payments for heat and electricity.
